Not a Job I Would Want

I went today for my annual skin check with the dermatologist. Good news is I was all cleared on skin cancer. Although I do have age spots that get frozen off. I did ask my doc why she didn’t just have a holster to wear that freezing gun around her waist for as much as she had to use it.

The one job I would not like to have is the derms assistant. This nice young woman stood there and watched as my dr. checked me over inch by inch with the little light up magnifying glass. The dr. is not seeing me from a Birds Eye view. But the assistant is getting the big picture of me naked and has to take notes about it.

That poor young woman. But thank goodness it was a woman this year. Last year it was a young man. It must have been too horrifying a job for him and he is not doing that anymore. The people who get full body skin checks tend to be older and not all the parts look so great in the bright light of the doctor office. Glad I don’t have to do that.
