Jean’s with Jeanne

I went to lunch today with my friend Jeanne. She suggested we go to a place I had never been to called jean’s by the sea. It was a fabulous fish shack on Hillsboro road.

I had never been and now I am dreaming of going back. The small shack is clean and bright. They have four or five booths inside, but a giant fenced in garden full of picnic tables and a covered outdoor seating garden with tables and chairs.

The owner Kate took our order. She was friendly and helpful. We both got the carb salad Louie. I should have taken a photo of my lunch. It was a full plate of perfect lettuce, cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced cucumber, hard boiled egg, avocado, a big scoop of crab salad and Louie dressing. So yummy.

Jeanne and I enjoyed our salad outside at a picnic table in the perfect fall weather. I will be taking Russ to Jean’s soon because there is a lot more I am interesting in trying as they have grilled fish, not just fried.
