Screaming Surprise

Apparently I was remiss in putting everything I am doing on my calendar. Today I had a birthday lunch with my friends Lynn, Shelayne and Stephanie. It was not on my calendar, but I knew Lynn was picking me up at 11:45.

We went to Thai Cafe to have our annual birthday lunch. It was loads of fun and Lynn Stephanie and I stayed a long, long time almost shutting the place down.

Lynn brought me home and we sat in her car laughing about inane things we always laugh about. We must have been in the driveway about 15 minutes and just as I was getting out of her car I screamed. Lynn said it was the loudest scream she had ever heard from me.

Carter, who I was not expecting, came walking out of the house! The best birthday surprise ever.

Russ apparently had stolen my phone and told Carter that I had nothing on my calendar today so I would be available when she flew in from Boston. Thank goodness Lynn picked me up for lunch so she brought me home. I had errands I was going to run this afternoon, which were also not on my calendar.

When Russ does not have an anniversary card tomorrow it will be because Carter came home to surprise me.
