Happy Birthday, Friend

Nothing is better than when your students become your friends. I meet lots of people every year. That makes keeping up with old friends hard. To go from meeting new people to becoming friends takes a little more time. So just because I meet so many people I don’t have much time to become friends with them all.

One friend made it easy for me, Susanne Dudley. She showed up at a class of mine in the Mountains. Then she had to her town in Florida. Then she came to see me at classes in Virginia, Twice. All in about a year. It was easy to become her friend because she is about the nicest most positive human being.

Since today is her birthday I want to give her a shout out. I am certain that her many Florida friends are celebrating her appropriately. It helped that her is Susanne since I tend to adore people named Susanne, no matter how they spell it.

For Susanne Dudley, I hope you won many Mah Jongg games today and took home all the quarters. Happy Birthday, Friend.
