Tomorrows Going to be Ugly
Posted: April 2, 2025 Filed under: Uncategorized 1 CommentThe Trump tariffs are out and the after hours market tanked. Tomorrow is going to be very ugly. I suggest you don’t look at your 401k, or you look at it and say, “why the hell did we elect this idiot?”
For those of you who are saying, “he’s doing great things,” I hope you are secretly screaming in your pillow as you watch him destroying the best economy. If you aren’t screaming in your pillow “I’m not unsure you have the brains you were born with,” as my grandmother used to say.
Less Dana, More Good 
I sit here wringing my hands. How can it be that the most powerful country in the world, the greatest democracy, with (supposed) checks and balances in place to prevent a country spiralling out of control, be in this position?
It’s inconceivable.
I am not even American. I don’t live in the US.
But, I am your age, Dana. So you know that I don’t have many years left to try and recoup these losses. But my (equivalent of) 401k here in Australia has already taken a severe gut punch today. Even though the people I voted for – the leaders of my own country had absolutely nothing to do with it. How can one man have so much power that he can pretty much ruin someone’s life 10,000 miles away simply by putting pen to paper. It’s inconceivable.
