Speed Shopping

A friend who wants to remain anonymous went shopping with me today at Kannon’s in Raleigh. This friend loves shopping and is excellent at picking things out for others. So I took her up on her offer to shop together.

I hate shopping. I bore easily in stores. Things interest me for a few minutes and then I am done with it. My idea of hell is walking aimlessly through stores. So speed shopping if very important for me. I try and keep to what in essence is a capsule wardrobe so everything goes together. Or at least when I’m traveling I only need two pairs of shoes.

This means the majority of my clothes are blue and white. There is not a shade of blue I do not like or look good in. I look awful in yellow and orange so I only entertain those colors as small decorative bits in any outfit.

Today my anonymous friend and I had the cutest young woman Emily helping us. Emily was excellent at bringing me the right sizes and finding exactly what I was looking for when I just described it to her.

So it a nascar like time I was able to get a few valuable items for my wardrobe. Thanks to Emily and my great Anonymous friend. And now I don’t need to go on another store for a long time. More time for mah Jongg.
