Grandmother of the Bride

I do not want to preempt showing the cute dresses my Mom got today. Just want to say it was a very fun day taking my mother shopping to get clothes for Carter’s wedding.

We went to Smitten and had a most wonderful woman helping us. My mom tried on many dress and many would have been perfect. Just as she was about to buy just one the sales woman brought one back we had not pulled. My mother tried it on and it was THE ONE. She loved everything about it right off the bat. She may have it shortened a bit, but I think it was great at its current length.

She was giddy with excitement as she loved it so much. What a big day. She bought two dresses and is ready for Maine. I am happy she did not wait much longer because it causes too much pressure to need something at the last minute.

After our shopping I took her to lunch to celebrate. It was a very fun day and she is going to look so cute at the wedding.
