Snow Day Lazy…
Posted: January 27, 2026 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a commentI don’t mind a snow day, especially if I already had a free day. Unlike being a kid in school, a snow day happening on a day you have a lot scheduled is a nightmare. Turns out these snow days (even though we really didn’t get much snow) happened on my planned days off.
I did not make the most of them. I did not clean out any closets or cabinets. I didn’t even clean anything. I watch movies and worked on my Christmas arts and crafts projects. I am now ahead on my goal. Good thing because I won’t get a thing done in. April.
I scheduled another new card class, which will be added to my website when the details are done in two days. I also sold out of my Hayes Barton Place class. So sorry if that was one you were considering, it’s too late. I did add a class at North Ridge Country at the end of April. They don’t let people sign up for anything until six weeks before the event. Members take priority, but since we can have over 150 people in that class I am certain non-members will be able to come. Just can’t sign you up until members have had their shot at it. Unless you know a member and ask them to take you. I am also working on a Charleston Class in May and two classes in Boston in August. I guess I did a little work today.

I hope everyone is staying warm. It is butt cold here, but not nearly as cold as it is up north. I am cold enough that I put on my Lanz flannel nightgown, exactly like the ones I wore in boarding school. I don’t know what I will do if they ever decide to stop making these night gowns. Well, the one I have might last the rest of life since there are only a handful of nights that re cold enough to wear it.
Thanks to all the friends who sent me messages that you are praying for Mike Mansuy. He messaged me thanks for your prayers. I am thinking of an “overwhelm campaign” between us humans and God. If he gets an overwhelming number of people all praying for Mike he might want to stop the noise and provide a medical miracle.
Be safe out there. Still going to be very cold, but thankfully the sun helps melt the ice. Back to real life tomorrow.
