Dinner Out

Trying to find one night when all four of us were free only needed to be done six weeks in advance, but it was totally worth it. So tonight we went out to dinner with our friends Dave and Sara. Six weeks ago when I took Shay over to their house to meet her new Cousin Dash we decided we needed a night out together. It was a feat coordinating 4 busy people’s calendars.

We made a reservation at Nerra, a new place located in the same place Krill used to occupy. It is a seafood forward spot. Thankfully Dave and Sara were all about sharing so I got to taste lots of different items.

It was all good, but true to form I think my favorite thing was the Brussels sprouts. Don’t get me wrong, the scallops, shrimp, Tuna Crudo were so good, but the sprouts were perfect.

It was just nice to have a night out with dear friends. The best part was I told Dave the story of how I ended up being the sex ed teacher in college, amazingly a story he had never heard before. He told me the story of how he ended up at Davidson, a story I had never heard. Just goes to show you can know someone 25 years and still surprise them.
