Third Class, Good Class

Today was the third day for two beginner classes I was teaching. I had 48 marvelous students I throughly enjoyed. In my afternoon class I had one student give me a gift. This is highly unusual and I told her so, but she said her love language was giving gifts, so I accepted. She also wrote a lovely note and that is the cherished part to me.

After class was over I went to sit in the gift shop attached to my teaching area because there are comfy chairs there. I had two hours between the afternoon and evening classes. Many of my students hung around the gift shop searching for Christmas gifts.
They said goodbye to me as they were leaving. One woman came up and pressed a $20 bill in my hand as she said goodbye. I looked at the money and asked what in the world it was for. She said a tip. I told her it was not necessary and she insisted so I did not argue with her. I don’t usually get tipped. It was very kind.

I am just happy that people leave excited and enthralled with the game. I can tell by the speed and quality of their playing when they get it. That is what makes the third day so fun.
