Last Night at Carter and Claire’s

Tonight Carter and Claire invited our friend Kelsey over for dinner. Kelsey is my friend Ruth E.’s daughter-in-law who I met teaching her Mah Jongg a few years ago and adored right from the start.

Kelsey invited me to come teach her group in Fort Worth Advanced mah Jongg and they were such a great group of ladies. When Kelsey’s husband got transferred to Boston, Ruth E. asked me if Carter would meet Kelsey.

They did meet and hit it off and have been friends ever since. So it seemed like the perfect thing to have Kelsey come for dinner while I was here. Sadly her husband was in North Carolina, but for their first dinner guest it seemed like a good idea to only have four of us.

It was so fun to spend time with young people even if I have never watched Love Island and probably won’t. But it has been great to spend so much time with Carter and Claire together and the bonus tonight was Kelsey.

I’m off to New Hampshire tomorrow. Slowly inching my way closer to Maine.
