Shopping Fun

Had the most fun day with my girls Carter and Claire. They have done such a wonderful job outfitting their house. You would have thought they had lived here for years, not days. They still had a few tiny needs so we went on big shopping expedition. We took the dogs who were welcomed in every store as royalty. Store workers in each place game them treats, and water and acted as if they each carried platinum cards.

We were on the hunt for chairs for the living room and out door tables for the porch. We found chairs, but not tables. The big get was at the Le Creuset outlet. Carter’s godmother had given them a very generous gift card a couple of months ago. So today was the perfect day for them to spend it as it was tax free weekend and the outlet was having a big sale.

We had three sales people helping and they offered me a job as I was advising the girls to always buy the bigger pot or pan since you can cook a small amount in a bigger pan, but not a bigger amount in the smaller pan.

The manager told them that it was not a game show, and they did not have to spend the whole gift card at once, but amazingly they spent almost exactly what they were given, only shelling out $2.23 of their own money.

They took everything out of the boxes at home and Carter styled it so show Suzanne. I thought they should show le Crueset. They will have these pieces their whole lives. Good thing since they won’t be getting my 40 year old pieces for at least 20 more years.
