We Made It

Shay and I had a fast short trip this morning to get to Carter and Claire’s new house. It was so exciting to finally get to see them. I adore their house and their wonderful neighborhood. Carter and Claire have met almost everyone on their street and they have been so welcoming to them.

After my extensive tour of every inch of their house we took the dogs on a short walk to go see Carter’s community garden plot round the corner. I am quite jealous of her tomatoes.

We hung at home and then went to the south end for dinner at a new hot spot Capri. Thank goodness everyone wanted to share because that way I was able to taste lots of different things. It was a big hit and we are going to have to take Russ there.

Shay and Norman held down the house while we were gone and nothing was out of place when we got home. Tomorrow we will go shopping. I love being with my girls.
