Fun, Family, Finally

Today was nothing but fun. Russ and the girls started out going to the Owl’s Head Library Fundraising Pie Sale. They came home with not just one pie, but two. They also stopped at the general store to get the girls breakfast.

We were off for a big walk on the breakwater this morning. Shay, who at the ripe old age of 13, can walk that two miles better than anyone. She insists on being in the front and is good at ignoring all other dogs who think they want her as a friend. We puttered around Rockland on our way home.

It was already time for showering for our big afternoon and evening in Camden. Our first stop was at Warren’s store, 10 Mechanic. Russ tried on all the available hats. Carter and Claire found some things for their apartment and I picked some record albums out for them that I thought would be good additions to their collection.

We shopped in many cute store and went to Long Grain for dinner. It was superb. We decided the soup was the best thing.

We got home and had game night. The first game was Boomers vs. Millennials. I got most of the both groups questions right. The Boomers did win.

Then we played this fun game called Name 3. You have five seconds to. Are three things in a category. Like name three things you can lick, or three people you don’t want to see with their shirt off. Turns out that Trump, Rudy Giuliani and Jeff Sessions worked as the answer to many questions, like three things you want to stay away from.

It was a most excellent day. Now I am pooped. Oh, Poop was another common answer to many questions.
