The Colors of My Day

To say it was a gorgeous day would be an understatement of epic proportions. The daytime sky was crystal blue and the water two shades darker. The boats were Mr. Clean white, but the lobster they pulled from their traps were maroon with pink speckles. The clouds were gauzy whispers of white. The grass emerald like OZ.

Dinner was creamy white as it was nothing but ice cream, a treat you realize you can do as an adult.

The evening came and changed it all. The blues gave way to pinks and purples the grass drew darker green. The clouds were tucked away for the night.

So the night sky will be navy blue and the water black. Only the stars and moon will shine white light rippling their reflections on the water.

Every moment is a different color. All are beautiful.
