The Best Party Of The Season

No matter how tired I am, going to the Garden Club year end Picnic is always energizing. Thank goodness the party was at Kathy Eason’s beautiful house since we had to be indoors. I did take a peek outside to see how gorgeous her gardens looked, even if it was pouring rain.

I may have dropped out of almost all the clubs I belong to, but I doubt I will ever have a day when I don’t want to be in Garden club with this group of wonderful friends.

Thanks to the hostesses. Doren’s salmon and Kay’s chicken were divine. As usual all the dishes everyone brought were fabulous, but Mary Eileen’s Tres Leches Cake imported from Dallas this morning took the prize.

Thanks to Stephanie for her excellent year as president. I look forward to a wonderful year next year.

Even Russ had a great time. We stayed longer than we should have, but it was the most fun party of the spring Season. Happy Gardening.
