Laid Back Mother’s Day

As I predicted we stayed mostly at home on this Mother’s Day, which was great with me. We did go to church, as I was certain that all the graduations were not going to effect church attendance.

We came home to 20 beautiful tulips which Carter had delivered secretly. They were a sweet surprise from the person who made me a mother. Since I couldn’t be with my girl, this was a nice substitute.

From that point on Russ encouraged me to do whatever I wanted. Not that I needed encouragement. So I needlepointed all day. I have a big project as a gift I am working on so I want to get it done fast. It was nice to stitch all day without guilt.
