Thanks for All The Birthday Wishes

For anyone who has gotten off of Facebook I am sure your birthday’s are just a little more quiet. I spent all day reading sweet messages from friends old and new wishing me a happy birthday. Thanks for the thinking of me on this day. I share it with so many friends, Gussy, Sarah, Beth, Vickie, Trisha, and Rose. I hope everyone born on May third had a great day today.

Birthdays no longer are just a one day celebration. I had a great lunch yesterday with Mary Lloyd and Christy, despite the waiter who narrated everything and not in an order you could necessarily follow. Many lunches to fill the rest of the month. Russ found me the funniest card of an Otter in a sea of Macarons singing.

Flowers from my mother and sista J. Plants, Sweet posts and calls from Carter. Calls and cards from so many friends and even a Dolly Parton Birthday song from my Friends Sam and Nancey with Dolly singing my name. How?

It was a beautiful day and I am thankful to made it another year doing things I love to do with people I adore. These days are not guaranteed so I cherish each one and all of you who made it so special for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
