A Little Brown Puppy Goes to Maine Part 2

As a little brown puppy I am demanding of all the attention from all my humans. I got up early with my Daddy, but later decided I wanted to go back to sleep with my Mommy, not before waking her up to let her know I was there to sleep with her. Eventually we all got up because we had our guest Gary staying with us and I needed to give him equal time to adore me.

All the adults had breakfast at the table before it was time for Gary to go back to Wisconsin. He said he would be back to visit me and bring someone else to adore me. I was happy I was getting some quality time with Daddy today. I took him on a walk around our neighborhood. I knew all the ways to go since I remembered it all from last year.

Mostly we hung out on the porch and watched the water. I saw boats and birds and some planes landing at our little airport, but mostly just water. It was fine with me because Mommy and Daddy were hanging with me. That was until Mommy started cooking dinner.

My friend Warren was coming for dinner. It seems like we are having people come to eat at our house a lot so far. Warren likes me so I like him. I also get chicken when he comes for dinner since he does not like seafood. He can come and eat chicken anytime as long as he shares. He did share his blueberry ice cream with me, so now I really like him even more.

I was exhausted from doing all my Maine things so I herded Daddy up to bed while Warren and Mommy talked about people I don’t know. That was fine, but I had started my day with one visitor and ended with another and that is enough socializing for one little brown puppy who is on vacation in Maine. I don’t have that many visitors at home. I am going to need a vacation from my vacation. Just being a cute little brown puppy is hard work.
